The Clinical Researcher of the Year – The Americas awards are set to return for 2026, continuing to identify and celebrate exceptional talent among clinical researchers throughout the Americas. This competition has become a cornerstone for learning and development over the past 15 years, engaging clinical researchers from pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and investigator sites worldwide.

The 2025 competition introduced finalists to a new assessment criterion and offered a variety of entry points to accommodate a broad range of roles and experience levels, allowing new candidates to demonstrate their expertise to our panel of industry experts and compete for awards in their respective categories.

For 2026, we are excited to introduce a new category, Clinical Programmer, Data Management & Biostatistics. As a Clinical Programmer, Data Management, and/or Biostatistics professional, you operate at the intersection of clinical data capture, cleaning, standards, analysis programming, and regulatory delivery. Suitable for individuals working in Sponsor, CRO, and service/technology organizations whose primary responsibilities span EDC/clinical data management, programming, and biostatistics/biostatistics programming.

The competition also features team categories such as the Global Project Team, Global Partnership Team, and Start-Up, alongside individual categories including Clinical Research Coordinator, and Clinical Trial and Project Manager.

All finalists will receive valuable mentoring and feedback on their performance, which is not only crucial for personal and professional development but also serves as an excellent way to validate training and highlight experience within the industry.
